Copper Cat Books is on West Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, in a suite off the parkway. It is an independent bookshop, not a children's boutique, and it earns its place in this guide the way the toy shops do — it is where a good picture book comes from in this corner of the valley.
It opens seven days a week, with the longer hours Tuesday through Saturday and a shorter Monday and Sunday.
